Webinar Description:

Last year, the National Labor Relations Board revised its test for determining joint employment, ultimately making it easier for workers legally employed by another company to become your employees (This includes, for example, employees provided by staffing agencies and similar arrangements).  This webinar will address the impact of the NLRB's joint employer standard on employers.  We will discuss who can potentially become a joint employer and what a joint-employer finding could mean.  We will also discuss the influence of the NLRB's joint-employer standard on other agencies such as the U.S. Department of Labor and explore how other agencies have expanded their view of joint employment.  We will keep a close eye on how the Trump administration may change the standard for joint employment and how that impacts the labor and employment law landscape.
